SUV or sedan? Choose by your week, not by your wishlist
4 July 2026 · 4 min read
Most renters over-specify. If your week is school runs, mall basements and a short commute, a sedan is quieter, cheaper to fuel and far easier to park.
An SUV earns its keep when you carry three or more passengers with luggage, drive unpaved access roads, or want the higher seating position in heavy traffic.
If you are torn, a crossover splits the difference: sedan running costs with useful boot height. Our team will shortlist three cars against your actual week if you tell us how you drive.
